Mandurah arborists are in demand after a massive storm hit Perth, Peel and the south west of WA. Two days of windy weather battered both the coast and inland areas. According to the Bureau of Meteorology, it was the most powerful system in almost five decades.
Winds in excess of 100km/hr smashed the city and many other areas, uprooting trees, felling power lines and leaving a trail of destruction. The strongest gust was 135 km/hr, recorded at Cape Naturaliste. The mammoth clean-up is now underway.
