Perth foothills residents are assessing the damage after two severe storms in the last month. The affected zones stretch from the Swan area down to Kalamunda, and out to Gidgegannup and Mount Helena.
Gooseberry Hill copped the worst of it, recording 113 km/hr winds. Transmission lines were brought down, leaving many residents without power.
There are no reports of injuries, although a spate of incidents around Australia have seen several people injured and two killed from falling trees or branches.
